Passionate About Tax, People, and the Power of Both
I’ve always loved the balance between working with numbers and understanding the human side of business. Working in tax allows me to do both. Each day brings a new challenge, whether it’s interpreting legislation, managing a reorganization, or advising business owners. I enjoy helping clients make thoughtful, strategic decisions that minimize their tax burden.
A Bit About My Journey
I graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting in 2015, followed by a Master of Accounting in 2016. I earned my CPA designation in 2019 and completed CPA Canada’s three-year In-Depth Tax Course in 2021. Since joining the HW Partners, I’ve had the opportunity to grow with an outstanding team of professionals while building meaningful, long-term relationships with our clients.
What Matters to Me
I’m driven by the complexity and variety that tax offers, but more than that, I’m motivated by the impact we can have on our clients’ success. Whether it’s through long-term planning or helping with immediate concerns, I strive to make each interaction valuable. I believe trust, responsiveness, and clarity are the foundations of excellent client service.
Life Outside the Office
Outside of work, I like to stay active and spend as much time as I can with my young family – these days, a lot of that revolves around my little one. When I do get a bit of downtime, you’ll usually find me playing hockey or listening to music. I’m always up for a good conversation and enjoy connecting with friends and family whenever I can.
