My strength in high school math classes quickly steered me toward accounting, and I’ve never looked back. I’ve always been drawn to structure and routine, qualities that align perfectly with the world of assurance and financial reporting. There’s something deeply satisfying about organizing data and knowing everything ties together with accuracy.
A Bit About My Journey
I graduated from Brock University in 2009 with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting and earned my CA designation in 2010. With over 15 years of experience in public practice, I’ve built a career rooted in consistency, collaboration, and continuous learning. Today, I serve as a Senior Assurance Manager at HW Partners, working with a variety of clients across multiple sectors.
What Matters to Me
What I value most is building strong, productive relationships with clients and within our team. I’m especially passionate about mentoring junior staff and sharing the knowledge I’ve accumulated through years of hands-on experience. Watching their growth and progress is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
Life Outside the Office
I’m happiest when I’m with family and friends, especially when we’re outdoors. Whether it’s a walk in the woods or simply enjoying fresh air, I find nature to be the perfect reset button.
