Whether it’s a tax challenge, an accounting question, or simply helping a client think through a new business idea, I’m here to offer insight that’s both technically sound and grounded in real-world experience. I understand the importance of having someone you trust to guide you through significant decisions, and I take that responsibility seriously.
A Bit About My Journey
I began my career with HW Partners as a student in 2007, earned my CA designation in 2010, and became a Partner in 2016. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and industries, which has given me the perspective needed to deliver practical, proactive advice. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is mentoring the next generation of accountants. I believe deeply in investing in our people, because they’re not just the future of our firm, they’re the future of our business community.
What Matters to Me
I’m driven by a desire to deliver exceptional service and build long-term relationships. To me, it’s not just about compliance; it’s about ensuring every client feels supported, understood, and confident in their financial decisions. I try to be the kind of advisor who’s just as comfortable answering a tough tax question as I am listening to a client’s idea for their next big move.
Life Outside the Office
I’m actively involved in the community and currently serve as Treasurer for the Kanata Stittsville Refugee Sponsorship Group, a cause close to my heart. I have also recently become a Beaver Leader with Scouts Canada, which gives me the opportunity to spend quality time with my sons and help inspire other kids in our community. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me enjoying the outdoors or catching up with family and friends.
