Numbers That Add Up to Impact
I’ve always loved working with numbers. Math was one of my favourite subjects growing up, and that passion naturally led me to business courses in high school, and eventually to a career in accounting. Having family members in the profession definitely influenced my path, but what really drew me in was the problem-solving aspect. Today, what I enjoy most is using that same curiosity and logic to help clients understand their financial picture and make informed decisions.
A Bit About My Journey
I joined Hendry Warren as a co-op student in 2016. I began working full-time in 2018, following my graduation from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting. I earned my CPA designation in 2020 and am a proud member of CPA Ontario and CPA Canada. As a manager, I support clients with a wide variety of needs, from compilations and review engagements to corporate and personal tax returns. I also enjoy training junior staff and helping them develop their skills and confidence as they advance in their careers.
What Matters to Me
I care deeply about producing high-quality work and fostering strong, supportive relationships along the way. Whether I’m helping a client navigate financial decisions or mentoring someone on our team, I always aim to bring patience, clarity, and genuine interest in the people I’m working with.
Life Outside the Office
Outside of work, you’ll often find me curled up with a book, knitting, or spending time with friends and family, including my two cats, Leo and Theo. I also enjoy giving back to the community and currently serve as Treasurer for the Heron Emergency Food Centre.
